Sharing contact details is sensitive. Here’s how Shakad keeps them safe.
Identity
Sign in with your email address and a password. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes, never in plain text.
Encryption
All traffic is encrypted in transit with TLS, and stored data is encrypted at rest. Session refresh tokens are kept only as hashes.
Audit and control
A Team workspace keeps an audit log of changes to the workspace and its members, which its members can view and export to CSV.
Data ownership
Your data is yours. Export profiles to vCard and contacts to CSV. Account deletion removes all personal data.
Resilient hosting
Shakad runs in containers with health checks and automatic restarts, on managed SQL databases with automated backups.
Built-in rate limiting
Sign-in and sign-up routes are rate-limited to slow down password guessing and other abuse.
